Done for our painting class's final assignment... Well not really because the assignment was supposed to have us paint a cartoon anthropomorphic character in a cartoon styled background.... but whatever...
Anywho, I just wanted to use the new brushes I've recently got and do something for fun, started as a random doodle in class, and I just went on to refine it from there. Originally the characters were gonna jump from 10 feet above the ground... but why jump anywhere when you can jump... FROM SPACE?!??? I want to see the Virgin company make this a luxury sport one day.... Done in Photoshop CS, reference used ONLY for the planet (cuz I still don't really know how to paint space environments properly) (c) JinJian Xu |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
